It’s been a whirlwind few weeks and I’m finally getting around to recapping the Build Your Own (BYO) Board class that we held back on May 11th. We partnered with The FARM Institute and their awesome event space out at Katama Farm served as the venue for this great event!
Participants tasted their way through six different American-made cheeses while engaging in some Cheese 101 education. I then shared some tips and tricks for composing a cheese board that’s sure to please a crowd! The discussion was awesome and all the participants had fantastic questions. I love it when people gather with curiosity and hunger to learn (as well as hunger for delicious cheese, obviously!).
Our cheese line-up included:
🧀 Bonne Bouche from Vermont Creamery – Tangy and striking
🧀 Three Sisters from Nettle Meadow – Luscious and compelling
🧀 3 Year Cheddar from Cabot Creamery – An absolute crowd pleaser
🧀 Alpha Tolman from Jasper Hill – Complex and crushable
🧀 Prufrock from Grey Barn – Our hometown hero!
🧀 Great Hill Blue from Great Hill Dairy – Spicy and powerful
The event was such a success, we are going to be hosting another one at the end of July! Here’s the link to register: https://thetrustees.org/event/419125/

Go forth and eat cheese!
